TRIF_O (musicaoltranza, inv3rno)

In 1998, after two years of a warm-up period as a Crossover dj and guitarist, he realized into a multimedia project called “Medium Madness Lab.” with Dario Polvara (Virus4) and Marco Bachis. He participated the project as the main guitarist and produced the digital compositions and also organized the live performances of Medium Madness Lab collaborating with Alessandro Cogliati and Stephen Cornacchia. In 2001 Trif_o assembled musicaoltranza.net, a portal regarding all kinds of indie music genres. Right along with the online function, the portal also held a place with the same name in the organization and promotion in “The Ring” which was a competition made ‘on a ring’ for the first time and that a great many of Italian dnb crews took part, likewise in august 2005, Musica D’Alta Quota (Asian Dub Found., Amon Tobin, dj Spooky, Zion Tran …) which is an international music festival that Trif_o himself was the creator and the art director.
Meeting dj Spiko in 2003, Trif_o’s passion for drum’n’bass sets in. In a year time, this passion of his would lead him to play in the parties in which djs like Digital, dj Krust, dj Villary (RYLZ) were also participated as guests. Today, as a Drum’n’Bass dj, he especially gives a place to artists like dj Teebee, C4C, BSE or Corrupt Souls in his dj sets with his techy and aggressive style. Year 2004 had been a year of developing his tecnique as a dj and staging a great many of live performances. The main parties were he performed were the ones with guests as Andy Fletcher – Depeche Mode, Darren Price (official Underworld djset) and dj N>E>D (Warp Records).
Steve Valentia was the one who approximated Berlin style minimal techno to Trif_o. The duo afterwards assembled Aqua_33, a minimal tech project. Between the major names that take place between the current collaborators of Aqua_33 there can be listed as dj Maus and Pheek from Canada, italian-english Italo Boyz, italian Tying Tiffany, Touane and Fernando Poo. 2005 has been the first year of the international festivals as the “MdAQ” and Flippaut Festival where Trif_o has performed a minimal tech dj set in a space sponsored by Vodafone .
